For those that want to grow a vegetable and herb garden in a small space, consider our raised garden bed packages!
Our raised garden beds are built out of greenheart wood reclaimed from local dock pilings. Greenheart is durable, attractive, and unique. Planter boxes made from greenheart will last much longer than other types of wood like pine or cedar, as it is naturally resistant to rot and insect damage. Since it is reclaimed it is sustainable, not contributing to deforestation.
Our raised beds come in a range of sizes and are either one board high (standard beds) or two boards high (extra high beds).
Edible gardens should ideally be located in VERY sunny areas (at least 6 hours of direct sunlight), close to a water source, and ideally close to the kitchen.
In-person consultations are often not necessary but can be helpful for determining the garden’s position prior to installation. If you have multiple sunny areas to choose from but do not know which is best, we can always help decide on the day of installation or take a look prior using satellite images and pictures at no charge. For those that would like an in-person consultation, we charge $200-250 (Miami-Dade) or $275-375 (Broward). In-person consultations typically last about an hour and we discuss the potential for edible gardening in your yard.
